About Us
Our
Company
My Right 2 Voice has been established since 2019, starting as a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) service based company.
Since then, we have been privileged to also provide Specialist Support Coordination, Therapeutic Services (Counselling), Workshops & Consultation, and On-Demand Educational learning as a small business supporting over 200 families.
Led by Managing Director and Owner, Maverick Clissold, our teams culture is founded by our company core values (VOICE), and the guiding principles of PBS to ensure that "everyone has the right to be heard."
Your Rights, Your Journey, Your Voice, Matter.

Our
Approach
Offering personalised support built on care, trust, and authentic connection using an evidence based, humans rights, and system change approach.
Rights:
Rights-based practice, recognising that quality-of-life improvements are fundamental to PBS and that upholding a person's human rights is both an ethical and a legal requirement. This framework equips practitioners to understand and articulate the nuances of person-centered practice in the context of a rights-based approach.
Evidence:
Evidence-informed practice, drawing from behavioural and biomedical science. It also provides a framework for collecting and analysing primary evidence about a person, their preferences, and their goals to inform person-centered, data-driven decision making.
Systems:
Systems improvements, recognising a person's right to access, equity, and inclusion, and the supports needed to achieve a fulfilling life.
The framework acknowledges that challenges faced by people with disabilities often stem from systems barriers rather than personal deficits.
Addressing these barriers is key to creative capable environments that support the person.
Solutions must tackle system-level issues, as these barriers are often the root cause of challenging behaviours.
Person-Centered Support

Guiding Principles (PBS) ensure a holistic approach to positive behaviour support, prioritising the rights and dignity of individuals while integrating evidence-informed strategies for effective practice. These principles create a framework that promotes equity, collaboration, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Practice Framework
In consideration to each of these areas, for person-centered service to be applied, the framework incorporates evidence based approaches, strategies, and therapies that best fit the person's individual circumstances.
Whilst ensuring the individual's rights to make decisions about their own life are kept, and that the support received is tailored to their values and preferences throughout the process of service.
